watched the goods trains roll by...

...most of desert is native american reservation land...it felt strange to be a white person here...like we didn’t belong...
but the people we met were so laid back and friendly it made it easier...

we listened to 50’s rock’n roll radio hits in the car..well, miten did until we made him turn it off...

Santa Fe

from los angeles, we moved on to santa fe, new mexico – they hadn’t seen rain in months – our arrival coincided with an incredible rain storm!

here’s a pic of some the people who came to celebrate with us in santa fe.

since leaving osho’s ashram in pune in 1992, deva and I have always looked for a way to maintain our connection with community.
we feel it is most important for spiritual growth...
our concerts are a continuation of our ashram days and this picture gives you an idea of the community that exists around us.
it’s always a coming together of friends...

Agape

news from the usa tour –

(miten making an heroic effort to sing at 8 am in the morning)...
...playing at agape church for their two sunday morning services.
we sang ‘so much magnificence’ and ‘sat patim’ for around 1,000 people at each service (which included a 7 am sound check..yikes..).
we had the honour of being accompanied by the agape choir, led by rickie byars beckwith, and their great house band.
something we won’t forget in a long while... a truly inspirational experience for us.

that’s rickie byars beckwith...the musical director.
it was cool to sing ‘magnificence’ with a real gospel singer!!
like singing a mantra with deva!

the agape church
