it was in belgium where jalal put his camera away.
so, this is our only record of our stay there – the beautiful church,
where the light of the evening sun turned everything into a mysterious and magical hue
personally, I’d forgotten how the belgian people sing – they brought such a warmth to the gathering.
we were having such a good time we played for well over three hours...!
and before we knew it, we were in another town, this time, cologne - the osho capitol of europe, where we were bathed in the precious fragrance of our beloved master.
it felt like falling into a bed of rose petals.
many old friends visited us in the dressing room...here’s a sweet line-up.
nadja, jalal, miten, manose, rafia, deva, rani, and rainer
the woman on the right is sitara, a one-time pupil of mine from the rajneesh school.
the last time I saw here she was about 13 years old.
one of the joys of being on the road is that you constantly meet old friends, and it was a real joy to meet sitara again.
she runs a high end recording studio in the heart of cologne with her boyfriend henning, who is a member of the legendary kraftwerk.
we stopped by for a tea and a tour of the studio
here’s sitara showing deva her on-road-friendly-tanpura and swarmandel.
it really sounded great
flowers and hugs after the concert
so many magical moments in cologne.
we’ll take a couple of pages to give you the taste of the celebration we experienced there.
