can’t leave stockholm without a word about our friend micky karlholm and his beautiful wife candra and their little girl, frida

micky has been a great support for many musicians, artists and teachers for many years...now he is enjoying family life, tucked away in the swedish countryside

...enjoying life with his family...

...and ... friends...

next stop was stockholm part one

..stockholm – home of swedish rock icon thomas di leva, who joined us on stage for a strong version of the tibetan healing mantra, teyata

we met thomas at the oneness university, in india, and so much enjoyed our time together.
it was in india that we made a promise to sing together sometime..
the stockholm concert gave us that opportunity

we also had the pleasure of peter makena’s great voice and presence.
peter is responsible for many of the sannyas anthems, such as so much magnificence and fly high...he has been a great inspiration to me personally, ever since I became a sannyasin, 30 years ago, so it was an honour for us to have him join for ‘fly high’.

later, peter and thomas returned to sing so much magnificence with us

the concert was in a great venue – a converted church.
state of the art sound equipment so sakha, our sound tech, finished his work earlier than usual..

..while in the dressing room things were getting a little strange!

we were having fun down there...

of course, the friends had no idea what we were up to downstairs...but I’m sure they would approve

hi everyone – i’m behind as usual.
scandinavia...ostrava and england...where to begin.
ok...let’s go back in time.
we arrived in oslo june 28.
was it really only 3 weeks ago...?
masta and vanita, our good friends, met us at the airport and welcomed us to their beautiful home

masta is a counsellor of renown in oslo...he’s the kind of guy you know you could go to in times of crisis.
a real friend.
plus he’s really big!

there’s a beautiful park in the heart of oslo, dedicated to the art of famous norwegian sculptor gustav vigeland.
it’s literally packed with his work.

copenhagen concert part two

we left copenhagen and ran into our friends rishi (producer of the essence) and bindu (old ashram friend and guitar hero) at the airport

catching up..it’s been a long time since these two old war horses had time to chew the fat
