hanging out in the desert..you get happy...

...the air is so clean...

...and fresh...

...you just have to sit back and breathe it in...deva and marina, our sweet friend, relaxing at 4000 ft...

...like being on top of the world up there...

we did play some music too - a very beautiful event with michael beckwith and his beautiful wife, rickie.
unfortunately, nobody remembered to take photos!
we did take some from our hotel room though...

from the desert to the city – arriving in new york city, we were picked up in a stretch limo for the omega yoga conference!!
had to take a photo of THAT!
(p.s just so you don’t get the wrong impression – a regular car was ordered but the hire company only had this one left, so they sent it!)
how is it inside..?
well, it’s all black leather and fancy lights and a stocked bar...we didn’t drink anything and we had the driver turn the lights off, so it was kind of like sitting in a bus.

it was so great to hang out with benjy and heather wertheimer again.

day after, we were playing at the mile high church in denver, to thousands of people in three morning congregations...

karnamrita is one of our very favourite singers..check out her beautiful cd dasi.
we were sooo pleasantly surprised to see her in the audience...

this lady is blind, but it doesn’t stop her from participating in all our san francisco events...

osho friends re-connecting...

we rounded off the event with a beautiful ecstatic chant celebration the following day, in berkeley.

..where I had the great pleasure of singing with my old ashram buddy, abhinandan, who is one of the great songwriter/singers from osho’s sangha.
that’s teerth in the foreground – teerth played drums for our meditations when osho was in the body, so a double amount of bhav that day...

as for the rest..well...what can I say..?!

..we said good bye to san francisco, but not before spending a few hours in the recording studio with ben leinbach, working on a new version of om asatoma.

next stop vancouver and another beautiful church...

San francisco and grace cathedral part two

it was a big night for all of us...

we had so many friends in the audience, and couldn’t help invite a few up on stage for ‘so much magnificence’...
here’s sudhananda, maniko, almasto (hidden) and teerth...

maniko graced us with her beautiful voice on the tibetan healing mantra teyata.
by the way, she is also the composer of our latest ‘anthem’  - in the light of love/dhanvantre.

and kit walker was, as always, a joy to behold...even with a gremlin in the keyboard

it was night to remember..

a microcosm of our life with osho...
...joy...

...spirit...

..intention...

all adding up to the sacred space of celebrating the HERE and NOW

..even if the sound was not as pristine as we like...(in some parts of the hall)...it couldn’t stop the bhav from flowing..

San francisco and grace cathedral part one

next stop, the blue skies and endless highways of california...

yes, deva and manose still let baba drive at this point.
after california i was relegated to the back seat..which suited me just fine.

crossing the golden gate bridge into san francisco, which must be one of america’s most beautiful city’s..one of the worlds most beautiful city’s actually..

we stopped for a photo opportunity

and then headed downtown for the grace cathedral, where we’d just heard 1200 people had already bought tickets for the concert!

America 2008 part two

after miami, we flew on to dallas texas.
here’s deva chanting the gayatri at the very spot jfk was assassinated, back in the 60’s...

there is so much dark energy surrounding the assassination, we felt to at least attempt to enlighten the place where it happened, by chanting the gayatri there.
we felt, from the people who came to sing with us, that dallas has a kind of reputation that spirituality has been destroyed by the kennedy killing.
it certainly didn’t feel that way to us.
it was such a beautiful audience and we felt totally welcomed from the moment we stepped on stage.
..with open hearts and open voices.
another extra special evening for us...

..plus a great stage..

..and a beautiful altar in our dressing room...
