we just shared an amazing 4-day chant retreat with 75 ecstatic souls who came from all over the country (even new zealand!) to be with us.
deva and i had been so full on with our work in the studio, editing and mixing the ‘in concert’ dvd, that we hardly had time to catch our breath before finding ourselves in the midst of a sea of smiling, joyful faces, on friday afternoon, at our event location at lake ainsworth.
lake ainsworth is a huge tea tree lake which takes on the colour of amber, due to the oil from the roots of the tea trees that surround it.
our retreat location nestled in between the lake and the ocean.
couldn’t have been better situated.

Dear Deva and Miten,
I guess it's no secret. I'm totally hooked on the Escstatic Chant retreats. Third time round and still no sign of my addiction waning. Once again, loved the retreat, and the Sunday arvo gig was a total bang! What a delightful feast of love and music. I spent a lot of the time just laughing with pleasure. The groove was brilliant, the spirit of it beautiful. And the band simply ROCKED! Thanks for everything. Your music and your lives are a gift to so many of us.
