being in byron gives us the chance to catch up with our good friend brandon bays
brandon is a gourmet chef in disguise – the tastiest meals you’ll ever savour.
this was no exception.
we had the pleasure of meeting author catherine ingram at brandons.
catherine is an inspired and beautiful human being.
i recommend you seek out her book, ‘passionate presence’.
here she is at the river house, along with baba and satya (far right), after a feast prepared in baba’s new rice cooker.
it’s been a snaky time up here.
last week rafia saw a huge guy among the firewood
a closer look
they call them carpet snakes here.
they’re harmless.
in fact people like them around their houses because they keep the mice away.
cute, huh?
here’s his mate, spotted above the river.
we watched him for four days – he hardly moved at all, just laid in the sun and slept (he’s still here!).
when I take my daily dip i like to float on my back, look up at the big blue sky, the palm trees, the jungle all around me and wonder, how did i get here?
the garden of eden – where you can eat the apples.
see y’all down the road.
love
