Luna and Cassie

"Just wanted to drop you a quick email to let you know how much we love our two new additions to the family. We adopted Luna (previously Bella) and Cassie (previously Bonnie) at the beginning of December last year and a couple of months on they have settled in well, making the place their own!

They are beautiful sweet cats, each with a naughty and mischievous streak! Cassie was a little shy and reserved to begin with but she has now come out of her shell and is getting braver everyday, she is even beginning to go out a little now – something she didn’t previously want to do. Luna pretty much made herself at home from the start and inquisitive about everything! They have both put on a little weight too, which at the moment is great, but they’d eat for England if we let them, so we’ll need to keep an eye on that!

We absolutely love having them and thank you for the opportunity to add them to our family. You all do such a fantastic job at Katz Castle."

Lola

"Thought you might like to see a picture of Lola (formerly Tara). She has been with me 3 yrs now and used to be really shy and scared. She is far braver now and she barely leaves my side. This is her relaxing with her wooden cat friend! Cute."

Oreo

"Hi, my name is Claire and my family and I adopted a kitten called Holly, we have renamed her Oreo. She has been with us. For nearly two months now and is a great member of our family. She was a little shy for the first day but was soon playful and wanting cuddles!"

Mabel

"I thought you may like the attached pictures and brief story for your website.

The cat is Mabel, my tortoiseshell BDS whom I got from Katz Castle as a twelve-weeks old kitten back in May 1996. Mabel sadly passed away from cancer just before Christmas at the ripe old age of 15 and although a naturally sad experience I have many wonderful memories of such a beautiful and happy cat, youthful in appearance and character right to the end and who had such a long and happy life whether it be chasing all manner of things, sitting in any empty box laying around or sunbathing on a warm deck or relaxing on her own blanket in the front room avidly watching 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

I am looking forward to returning to Katz Castle for two kittens in a few weeks time and begin a whole new experience of cat ownership and happiness."

Barney

"We've had Barney for more than a year now!!! All we ever talk about is Barney and I just sent you some pics to show you how happy he and we are to have him. We are so grateful. Thank you."

Bear

"I just wanted to send you a hilarious picture of a scruffy old cloth cat that Katz Castle looked after before I took him home in Autumn 2010. His name is Bear because he looks like one but not in this picture. This is him caught mid wash but it's too funny not to share. He's thriving in his new home after having been a stray for so long. He's been through the mill but he's now loved and has a cosy lap and plenty of food. Thank you Katz Castle."

Mr Humphrey

"This is just a quick hello from Humphrey (known as Mr Humphrey). Mr Humphrey has been with us for about eight weeks now as you can see from the first photo he was very thin but now he has put on lots of weight and is now microchipped (just enough weight says the vet)  He has made great friends with Mr Slippers (picture 2 both relaxing on the kitchen table). The last picture is of me in one of my most favourite places Ellen's bed, but any bed will do. To be honest Mr Humphrey has become a great softie and we love him very much. Thank you very much for letting us have him and thank you for doing a great job of looking after him."

Tiny and Tilly

"Please see the attached photos of Tiny and Tilly which I got from you in September. They are so happy in their new home and garden and are in and out of the cat flap day and night. I had them microchipped but they don’t go far from the house so they are quite safe. I’m so pleased that I gave them a home together as they are inseparable. 

They have grown quite a lot bigger now and I’m not surprised as they always eat all their food and then want more! I have to be careful not to give in all the time as I don’t want them to get too fat. They even try to steal my dinner although they have not long been fed. Well thank you again for letting me adopt these two little minxes and keep up the good work."

 

 

Leo

"Just to say thank you for pointing out Leo to us back in September. He was a very thin scardey cat back then as you can see he has now put on some weight and whilst not brave he is a very content happy cat."
